Ken Brown is Stratos’ EVP and Chief Client Officer, responsible for all client-facing and growth-oriented activities. Prior to co-founding Stratos, Ken served as the General Manager of Hospitality in HP’s Business Solutions group where he was responsible for driving innovation and growth for hoteliers and cruise lines around the world. At a global level, Ken was responsible for establishing HP’s overall industry plan for Hospitality. Ken was also responsible for developing and maintaining HP’s executive relationships within Hospitality. In his job prior to HP, Ken spent five years running a group of companies that served the hospitality segment for a significant holding company based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Prior to serving the hospitality industry, Ken was the Vice President of Global Sales at EDS. Under Ken’s leadership, sales increased from $11.8B in 1998 to over $31.4B in 2001. This dramatic increase was largely attributed to Ken’s team because of the total redesigning EDS’ sales processes, support tools, and commission plan.
He currently serves on the board of directors for Yikes Corporation and a non-profit organization helping single parents in the Dallas area. Ken completed EDS’ executive development program, where he received classroom instruction from top instructors and business leaders from around the world.
Ken earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree cum laude from Dallas Baptist University in 1989 and a Masters of Ministry in Leadership from Andersonville Theological in 1999. He and his wife, April, have four children, Caleb, Nathan, Noah, and Chloe.
